Today we’d like to introduce you to Airicka Green.
Hi Airicka, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I started my brand AiriLasha Co. (Formerly DollFace Extensions). In February 2019. I wanted to start my brand because of the love I have for the beauty industry. I love how creative you can be and how it makes one feel when have your hair, nails, and skin looking so flawless and angelic. I love to uplift women and I love the beauty industry to combine both was a win-win for me.
During middle school and high school, I loved watching others create these beautiful nail art and mixtures of hair color to create masterpieces with hair extensions and nails and I wanted in! I took cosmetology in 2014 while I was in high school it was one of the career choices, they had in high school so I joined because I wanted to learn more about skin, hair, and nails. I always watched YouTube videos but I wanted someone to teach me the basics.
Around 2014 YouTube was not as resourceful as it is now but I still learned many things during my time in cosmetology from 2014-2016 although I passed the state board I never to the written part of the test to obtain my license and that is a regret I have but I was 17 at the time still young and not sure what career path I wanted to take so now I have to start my cosmetology journey over to get my license this year.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of my biggest struggles with my business was behind the scenes which was self-doubt. I wasn’t the popular girl or the person who was really social with others so in my mind I always doubted the fact “who will support me and my craft.”
This went on for years. I attempted to launch my business in 2014 but it only lasted maybe a week because I was so scared. I was in my own way for so long even but I have a best friend, Riyanah who has been encouraging since day 1 she is the reason and provided me with the motivational push to fully go through with my business in 2019.
When launching my business in February 2019, I was 4 months pregnant with my second son I was not working at the time so it was a struggle for me throughout because I didn’t really have the funds to invest in my business the way I wanted to. Fast forward a couple of months I started working and started to invest into my business each check. By this point, it was the early summer time and I have not gotten a sale which was very discouraging at the time. I didn’t get my first hair order until August. Within my first year of business, I made 10k in sales.
Although it took some time for me to get my first sale. I spent way too much money to give up and as a mother, I can’t allow my kids to see mommy fail or give up.

Airilasha Collection provides women with a one-stop shop experience. No need to spend hours and 100s of dollars in a salon. I provide 100% durable and reusable handmade glue fewer custom wigs that can be colored or custom colored by me, acrylic, and gel press-on nails, as well as all-natural skincare products.
We also provide hair products such as lace glue, silk mist, shampoo, etc. We have cosmetic products that include 100% faux mink lashes, foundation, lip gloss, lipliners, and more. Our newly launched all-natural plant-based yoni collection and skincare We will be launching our clothing collection in June 2023. Hair, skin, and nails are just a few ways women boost their confidence and allow them to feel beautiful and happy.
I think one thing that sets us apart is our one-stop shop experience we are on the road to providing women everything they need to their doorsteps without having to shop at multiple places or step foot in a salon if they choose not to. Whether it’s a chill day in the house or a night out we will have everything they need beauty, skincare, and fashion-wise.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Most people never knew of my talent period.
They are continuously surprised that I can create wigs from scratch, color hair, and I could create skincare and cosmetic products from scratch just the base of water or oil and bring it to life whether it’s shampoo, body wash, or lipstick.
