An Inspired Chat with Wildine Aumoithe of North Miami

Wildine Aumoithe shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Wildine, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I’m being called to step out more and do interviews within the Haitian community something I used to be nervous about. For a long time, I hesitated to share my story publicly, especially within my own culture, because I wasn’t sure how people would perceive my experience with dwarfism. But now, I see it as an opportunity to educate, inspire, and break barriers.

Sharing my Guinness World Records achievements and personal journey isn’t just about me it’s about showing others that disability doesn’t define your potential. It’s about representation, pride, and creating space for others in the Haitian community to feel seen and celebrated for who they are.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! My name is Wildine Aumoithe, and I’m a Haitian-American influencer, graphic designer, and 2x time Guinness World Record holder recognized as the world’s shortest woman non-mobile and shortest professional model. I use my platform to inspire others by sharing my journey living with SADDAN dysplasia, a rare form of dwarfism, while also highlighting beauty, disability representation, and creativity.

What makes my brand special is how it bridges worlds I celebrate both my Haitian heritage and my unique physical experience, showing that beauty and talent come in all forms. Beyond content creation, I’m currently studying Graphic Design at Liberty University and preparing to launch my creative business, The Wild Creative Co, where I’ll help brands bring their vision to life through design and storytelling.

My mission is to empower others to embrace who they are, use their voice, and know that limitations don’t define what’s possible.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that really shaped how I see the world was when I officially became a Guinness World Record holder for being the world’s shortest woman non-mobile. I was only 18 years old, and that moment changed everything for me — not only because I broke a world record, but because I became the first Haitian-American female to ever hold this title.

That experience taught me that what makes us different is what makes us powerful. For a long time, I saw my dwarfism as something that separated me from others, but achieving that milestone helped me understand that my story could actually connect and inspire people all over the world.

Now, I see the world through a lens of purpose and possibility. I’ve learned that representation truly matters — and that every person, no matter their size or circumstance, has the power to make history in their own way.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, I’d say: you are enough exactly as you are. The things that make you different are not flaws — they’re gifts that will open doors you never imagined. One day, you’ll inspire people simply by being yourself.

I’d remind her that even though the world may not always understand her, her light will still shine through. Keep believing, keep dreaming, and never be afraid to take up space — because your story matters more than you know.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
I’d say yes — the public version of me is the real me, but it’s just one part of who I am. What people see online — the confidence, the inspiration, the smiles — that’s truly me. But there’s also a more personal side that the world doesn’t always see: the moments of reflection, the challenges, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going.

I’ve learned to be open about my story while also protecting my peace. So even though the version of me that the public sees is real, it’s also carefully balanced with self-care and boundaries. Both sides make up who I am — a woman who’s proud of her journey, but still human beneath it all.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as someone who used her voice and her story to inspire others to believe in themselves. I want them to say that I showed the world that beauty, strength, and purpose come in all forms — and that I made space for others to feel seen, especially within the disability and Haitian communities.

I hope people say that I lived with faith, courage, and love — that I broke barriers, made history, and did it all while staying true to who I am. More than anything, I want to be remembered as someone who turned her challenges into light and helped others see the light in themselves too.
