We’re looking forward to introducing you to Undre Pickett-White Sr.. Check out our conversation below.
Undre , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
I recently gave birth to a handsome baby boy, so my days have changed so much. Most of my new daily tasks include making bottles, burping, changing diapers and snuggling with baby boy. Outside of that, typical mom duties like taking care of my first born, working, and tackling household chores like cooking and cleaning are all apart of my normal daily routine. As of recently, I’ve been trying my best to push out as much content where ever I find the time to squeeze it in. It’s a challenge, but I’m getting it done!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Brittney Everson, the owner of BrittneySharde Cosmetics. I’m a professional makeup artist and licensed esthetician, but at the core, I just really love helping people feel good about themselves. Being a makeup artist has opened many doors for me! I started my own lip gloss line and I’ve been blessed to work in the music video industry with models and celebrities. I also have a passion for special effects makeup. It’s one of my favorite ways to push my creativity and has gained me notoriety during the Halloween season.
On the esthetics side, I’m all about confidence and care. I specialize in brow enhancements and maintenance, body waxing (including vagacials), and facials. For me, it’s not just about the services. It’s about giving people an experience where they can relax, laugh, and walk away feeling like the best version of themselves. I’m passionate, a little playful, and definitely down-to-earth, so I love connecting with people in a real way while doing what I love.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose and needs to be released is being “too nice”. For a long time, I thought putting everyone else first and softening my own boundaries was just who I had to be. But I’ve learned that while kindness is a strength, it shouldn’t come at the cost of my own peace, voice, or worth. I can still be genuine and caring without shrinking myself to make others comfortable.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: “Your creative mind is your superpower, and it’s what sets you apart. Don’t ever doubt it or hold back! Chase your dreams boldly because you truly have everything it takes to succeed. And please, don’t wait for the perfect time. Start right after high school, because the sooner you believe in yourself, the sooner the world will see all that you have to offer.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
The project I’m committed to, no matter how long it takes, is me. I’m my biggest project, and I’m all about becoming the best version of myself. It’s a lifelong journey so there will always be room to grow and level up. No matter how many twists and turns life throws at me, I’m dedicated to evolving into the woman I know God called me to be.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I had 10 years left, the first thing I’d stop doing is procrastinating. I’d go after every single goal I have full throttle, no holding back. Life is too short to keep waiting for the perfect moment. I’d rather take risks, chase my dreams, and pour myself into everything I want to accomplish while I have the chance.
