We recently had the chance to connect with Teri Angel and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Teri, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
When I first open my eyes after sleeping, I focus on how my energy is – not my body. It is in those first seconds of awareness that we are still connected in with our true higher self. I want to relish it and always ask if I need to remember anything that was revealed to me during my “down” time. Next, before I start moving, I look upward and give thanks for a new day, a new opportunity to show up in the world. I end with “what would you have me do today God?” Only then do I feel ready to greet the day. I then prepare to go to my online broadcast “Morning Cuppa Joy” which has been streaming for over 5 years daily. After that, I usually pour a cup of coffee or tea and sit in nature with a book or silently listen to the sounds and energy as I go into meditation.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Teri Angel is an International Peace Ambassador and the founder of the nonprofit corporation, Angelspeakers Inc. Teri is an angel messenger, spiritual coach and teacher, and energy healer. She has been communicating with angels her entire life and delivers their messages wherever she goes. She also teaches about the angels once a month online, highlighting one angel each month. Teri has been traveling throughout the USA on a Peace On Earth Tour, a mission to spread the message of peace throughout the country using land and water blessings, and speaking to others about calling in peace in our world. This year, the Tour is going international to connect other countries to the energy of the USA for a global mission of world peace.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
A breakdown happens when we stop listening to each other and when judgment creeps into our view of others. We are all here learning from each other. When we can stop the dialogue in our minds of what we think the other person is all about, what they are thinking or criticizing what they are saying or doing, then we can start to communicate. Without honest communication, we will never achieve a world where we can cohabit peacefully. Speak up, speak out and do so with pure love in your heart. Be open to what others have to say, even if you disagree or hold an opposite belief or concept. It’s never too late to change your perspective or become more solid in what you believe if that is your experience.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
After my second failed marriage, I started to question myself. After all, I was the common denominator! I was so down on myself and criticized me more harshly than any person could ever do. I felt myself spiraling downward and could not see how I would ever climb out of that quicksand. I cried until there were no more tears. It was only then that I could take my broken heart and broken spirit to my one go-to in life – my angels. They helped me see that I was not a failure. They helped me first restore my sense of worthiness and then restore my faith in God.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I believe we will accomplish world peace in my lifetime. It may not seem that way given the state of affairs that our world is currently exhibiting. A big message I have received is that when things look this chaotic it is the breakdown that will lead to the breakthrough. It is like the tornado that comes in and ravages an area and when it leaves there is total silence afterward. There is then the rebuilding process, discarding what was dismantled and building what will be new and fresh. That is what our world is going through and it is not easy. It can be frightening to endure and the key to survival is for all of us to bond together over the experience and allow what comes next to be filled with love and gratitude as we vow to change together in a positive way.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Absolutely! I do not need accolades or awards. What I do with my work comes from the heart and a desire to see a world that we can all live in harmoniously, a world that our children and their children will feel safe and proud to live in. I do not want or need praise from humans, only a peace that when I leave this world I will be able to say to God “I gave it my all and did the best I could with what I had.”
