Roberto Alvarez-Galloso shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Roberto, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
All three [intelligence, energy, and integrity] are important.
1.We need intelligence in order to make decisions that will help ourselves as well as our clients and the general public
2. We need the energy to maintain the motivation of being able to do our work and help others in the process.
3. At a time when we are suffering from the lack of consistency in decision making [and keeping promises], integrity is needed.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am the host of the Spanish Language Podcast El Noticiero RCAG as well as its English version The AG News Show and The Americana Bistro Grill. Our programs [Noticiero RCAG and The AG News Show] is a program in which artists are interviewed concerning their work and career. We also have a section dedicated to Football [Soccer]. The artists that are interviewed are the ones that deserve to have their music and careers mentioned at a time when Independent Artists are barely receiving the publicity they deserve.
El Noticiero RCAG was established in 2006 for the Spanish Language world while the AG News Show was established in 2014. It has been in WordPress and You Tube since 2007 and other mediums such as Rumble since the early 2020’s.
The Americana Bistro Grill show has the same theme but it deals with artists who are Americana [Rock and Country] who are not promoted by those who are in the Mainstream yet have the talent and the will to succeed. The Americana Bistro Grill was founded in 2014 while working as a co host of a sports program in AMI Radio [AMI stands for Anna Maria Island].
The Americana Bistro Grill [during its time with AMI Radio] grew as it was promoting the music and interviewing Americana Artists. This happy relationship ended with the folding of AMI Radio in 2017 and its transfer to the AG News Show. During the AG News Show era, the Americana Bistro Grill Show transformed into interviewing the Americana Artist and allowing them the opportunity to promote their music to a wider audience including those outside of the American Continent.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
The lack of integrity breaks the bonds between people since this is the beginning of broken relationships in all spheres. The restoration of integrity is needed but difficult but is resolved with the party who destroyed the trust apologizes, repents, promises not to repeat the mistakes of the past, and puts the promises and apologies into practice.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Never give up. Keep going
