Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Olga Khomchik. I’m a travel, beauty, and fashion influencer based in Miami. I’ve been a successful influencer for over 7 years. I share tips with my followers about the latest trends in beauty and fashion, and I also show the world through my eyes—having visited 40+ countries.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My parents. They always believed in me and supported all my endeavors. My first digital camera was a gift from my mom when I was still in school. After my first school trip to Paris, my parents immediately recognized my talent for creating beautiful photos and videos—how I see the frame, how I capture people and the world around me.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
That I might be missing out on something in life. I want to be everywhere at once, to do it all—right now.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
The biggest lie is that a ‘perfect life’ on social media exists without any behind-the-scenes effort. In reality, even the most ‘natural’ influencers have a team of stylists, editors, and a bank account they never show in their Stories.
