We’re looking forward to introducing you to Laquinceya Wilson. Check out our conversation below.
Laquinceya, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
The Recent Moment that made me so proud was my appearance at the VMAS SPONSORED BY THE GENERAL.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Lil Q Born and raised in Memphis, Tn . I rap and sing and my style is uniquely formed from my struggle and my soulfulness.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My brother saw me clearly before I could see myself. He gave me motivation on everything I did.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain in middle school I was bullied in elementary and middle schools but I got feed up so I put it on paper and gave myself a voice .
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
I feel the public version of me is the real version cause I’m the same in real life and public .
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
People will misunderstand that I wasn’t just doing this for my family I was doing this for a lot of people who don’t have a voice.
