Good morning Jason, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Who are you learning from right now?
I’m currently learning alot from books and friends about the film busniess
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey My name is Jason, also known as ShowtimeShootz and I am a passionate content creator and aspiring media professional. Despite being born premature, I still have dreams and aspirations to chase so I can’t let that stop my ongoing faith and trust in myself. My journey began with a love for storytelling and visual arts, leading me to pursue a degree, which I will complete in spring of 2026. Alongside my academic endeavors, I have focused heavily on creating dynamic content centered around two of my greatest passions: professional wrestling and basketball. Im currently working on making a feature film called sketches of us
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, when he saved me at a premature birth. My friend Cassandra. She saw something in me since the day she met me that I didn’t even realize the potential that I had in myself.
Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
My friend Joshua. When I was starting my script for my feature film. we discussed ideas about it after it was done.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My upcoming film, Sketches of Us. I worked on this script for 10 weeks, and the final pages were so brutal to write because I didn’t want the story to come to an end. Now, at this current time, I’m in the process of making a pitch deck so I’m able to get funded for my script.
