An Inspired Chat with Izabela Bos of Miami, FL

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Izabela Bos. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Izabela , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
One common misconception about Simply Luna is that we’re “just another boutique.” In reality, Simply Luna was founded with a deeper purpose—to empower women to feel confident, radiant, and truly themselves through intentional style. Every piece in our collection is hand-selected not just for trendiness, but for comfort, versatility, and the ability to seamlessly fit into the busy lives of modern women.

We’re more than a shop—we’re a community. Simply Luna is rooted in connection, authenticity, and celebrating every phase of womanhood. From our thoughtfully curated collections to our uplifting content and customer experience, our goal isn’t just to sell clothes—it’s to help women embrace their light, feel seen, and shine unapologetically.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Izabela Bos, founder and owner of Simply Luna, a curated boutique created to help women embrace their light and feel confident in every season of life. What started as a passion project quickly turned into a heart-led brand rooted in self-expression, authenticity, and intentional style.

At Simply Luna, we believe that fashion should be effortless, empowering, and aligned with who you are—not just who you’re told to be. Our collections are carefully chosen to reflect that belief, combining comfort, beauty, and versatility so women can shine in their everyday moments.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding our reach, building a supportive community, and launching new pieces that inspire joy and connection. Simply Luna is more than a boutique—it’s a movement of women owning their confidence and showing up as their full selves. The mission was to make every luna babe feel like a Moon among all of the Stars.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I would say bonds between people are often broken by a lack of communication, trust, or empathy. Misunderstandings, assumptions, and unspoken expectations can slowly create distance — even among those with the strongest connections. Many times this happens through different chapters in life and causes us to drift apart.

But what restores those bonds is intention. Open dialogue, vulnerability, and the willingness to really listen can bring people back to each other. It’s in the quiet moments of accountability, forgiveness, and shared effort that we begin to rebuild. Relationships are strengthened when we choose compassion over ego and understanding over judgment.

Connection isn’t something we find—it’s something we nurture. Bonding with our community and empowering one another is what brings the drive behind Simply Luna.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Absolutely—more than once. As a small business owner, there are days when the pressure feels overwhelming. Balancing the demands of Simply Luna with life’s personal responsibilities can be exhausting. There have been moments where the to-do list felt endless, the self-doubt crept in, and I questioned if I could keep going.

But what always pulls me through is my why. Simply Luna was built from a place of passion—to create something meaningful, something that uplifts and empowers women to feel confident in their own skin. That mission is what keeps me grounded. Every message from a customer who feels beautiful in our pieces, every small win, and every moment of connection reminds me that this journey is worth it.

Giving up crosses the mind—but the passion, the purpose, and the community keep me going.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Authenticity — without question. At Simply Luna, everything we do is rooted in being real, intentional, and true to who we are. From the pieces we curate to the way we connect with our community, we never want to feel like just another brand chasing trends.

I protect that value fiercely because I believe women deserve spaces that feel genuine—where they’re not pressured to fit a mold, but are celebrated for showing up as their full, unfiltered selves. Simply Luna isn’t just about clothes; it’s about creating a culture where confidence, kindness, and real connection thrive.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
What would remain is my purpose — the heart behind everything I do. Without the labels, titles, or things I’ve built, I’d still be someone who deeply believes in connection, creativity, and helping others feel seen and empowered.

At my core, I’m a storyteller, a dreamer, and someone who wants to create beauty and meaning in the everyday. That’s what fueled Simply Luna from the very beginning — and even without the brand, that fire to inspire confidence and authenticity in others would still burn just as bright.

Strip it all away, and what’s left is the why—and that’s everything.
