Brian C. Hawkins shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Brian C., it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
The first, is having uninterrupted time with my husband. When we both have a day(s) with each other that we are not working, and on our devices, where we completely disconnect from the outside and are intentional with our time together, that guides me to me.
The next is my own self care of exercise. It’s the ultimate reboot for me.
Going to the beach is DEFINITELY where time has no existence and I am able to release and connect to the simplicity of the ocean.
I am also a music lover. My favorite is going to the record shop and spending hours looking through vinyl to add to my collection.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bonds between people, and what restores the bond?
One word, “communication”.
When people stop communication with intention, transparency, and integrity, then the bond is lost and broken.
However, the same applies to restore the bond between people, when you ARE intentional, transparent, and have integrity in what and how you communicate.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
It’s okay to not have it all together all the time.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Healthy self care. Without that, nothing else will ever build or succeed.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
When in silence.
