An Inspired Chat with Angela Blessed of Clearwater

Angela Blessed shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Angela , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Public speaking not just to the youth, but to the adults & children that God has assigned me to. All on a bigger level. I believe I’m ready…no I am ready.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey guys I am Angela Blessed thw host of “The Angela Blessed Show” my show used to be “Real Talk w/ Angela Blessed, but we had to rebrand. We’re rebranding again because we’re growing and it’s still The Angela Blessed Show, but umbrella will.be called VURTUOUS DIVERSITY MEDIA LLC. We’re still working on our website.

The Angela Blessed Show is a platform featuring podcasts and other content created by Angela, focusing on real-life issues, faith, mental health, and unsolved crimes and missing persons cases. The show uses personal stories and interviews to provide encouragement and raise awareness, aiming to help listeners remember that the sun shines after the rain. It is available on various podcasting platforms,

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I was led to believe I wouldn’t amount to anything, and that nobody would want someone as flawed as me. I had to learn to heal, and entrust myself and my life to God, having grown up in a home with nothing, and now I’m loved. I am who God says I am, and that is beautiful in and of itself.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
On multiple occasions, I came close to surrendering, yet God persistently reminded me that there are people on the same journey who need the talents God has placed within me. I grappled with feelings of isolation, being unloved, and not having the support I believed I required. Jesus had to step in and bring me back to reality. I now understand that all I need is what the Lord has planned for me.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is what you get. I do sometimes like to joke, but that is just to make you feel good about yourself. I am one of a kind…lol.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What will you regret not doing?
Me is persevering in this race, because if I ever consider giving up, I realize that it’s vital to model unwavering resilience for those who follow in my footsteps.
