We’re looking forward to introducing you to Alejandra Gosselain. Check out our conversation below.
Alejandra, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I love visiting and discovering different water parks with my kids, Miranda & Marcelo.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Alejandra Gosselain, and I am a licensed Realtor in South Florida and the founder of MoveWithAleGoss. I help families, first-time buyers, and investors find their perfect home while also mentoring women—especially young graduates and single mothers—who want to start or grow in real estate.
What makes my brand unique is that it’s not just about selling homes, but about building confidence, financial independence, and generational wealth through real estate. Alongside my role at Lifestyle International Realty, I also created digital resources like my ebook “10 Steps to Your First Successful Sale or Rental”, designed to guide new agents through their first wins.
My story is rooted in resilience, family, and community. I believe in combining professionalism with authenticity, motivating others to see their own value, and proving that with the right tools and mindset, success in real estate—and in life—is possible.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that truly shaped how I see the world was becoming a mother. Having my children gave me a new perspective on life, responsibility, and purpose. Suddenly, every decision I made was no longer just about me—it was about building a future, creating stability, and showing them what’s possible through hard work and resilience.
My kids inspire me daily to push past limits, to be brave even when I’m scared, and to always find solutions instead of excuses. They are the reason I see challenges as opportunities and why I believe in the importance of leaving a legacy, not just financially but emotionally. Through them, I learned that love and determination can completely change the way you approach the world.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: “You are enough, just as you are.”
There were times growing up when I felt I had to prove myself, to be stronger, smarter, or more perfect to be loved or accepted. But life has taught me that my imperfections are part of my beauty and that my strength comes from being authentic, not from trying to be who others expect me to be.
I would remind my younger self to trust the process, to be patient with her journey, and to know that every hardship is shaping her into the woman and mother she is meant to become. Most importantly, I would tell her that love—especially self-love—will carry her through anything.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is the real me. What you see is someone who has learned to live authentically, even when it isn’t easy. My philosophy is rooted in resilience, gratitude, and the belief that challenges are opportunities for growth. I don’t believe in presenting a ‘perfect’ version of myself — I believe in showing up as I am, because that is where true strength and connection come from.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope the story people tell about me is that I was a woman who never gave up—someone who faced struggles but always stood back up stronger. That I chose to believe in myself even when it wasn’t easy, and that I inspired others, especially my children, to do the same.
I want people to remember me as someone who valued happiness over perfection, who worked hard but also knew how to love deeply and live fully. A mother, a mentor, and a professional who turned challenges into opportunities and left behind a legacy of resilience, hope, and empowerment.
