Today we’d like to introduce you to Yuliya Karnitskaya.
Hi Yuliya, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my career in company Sun Street LLC but with Solar panels installation but now I’ve come to the decision that I want to develop my own direction in construction.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The main obstacles I’ve faced when offering innovative products like solar systems and European kitchens are that you’re basically a no-name person. On top of that, not being a U.S. citizen and not speaking fully fluent English — it feels like the complete set of missing pieces for a working mechanism.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I hold the position of Head of Sales in the company. Of course, my main responsibility is attracting new clients. Being absolutely confident in the luxury quality of the products we offer, it hasn’t been difficult for me to bring my projects to life.
My strengths are open communication with clients:
1. A clear understanding of their needs through asking the right questions.
2. Not promising what cannot realistically be delivered.
3. Using the right tools to achieve the goal — a high-quality product at an accessible price, detailed design development, and thorough discussion with the client.
Gradually, while building communication with clients, I realized that a high-quality visual presentation — where the client can truly see what they want, believe in it, and desire to have it — is extremely important.
That’s when my daughter became my greatest support. She has studied 3D modeling for more than three years, and together we created our design projects as a team. We incorporated her realistic renderings to bring interiors to life and even added characters inspired by our clients’ images, which significantly helped them make confident decisions.
Over time, I realized that each new client wasn’t just coming to the company — they were coming specifically for my expertise and authority. Moreover, many project stages were approved and organized directly by me, because the company simply didn’t offer that level of service — yet clients were asking for it.
Today, I can fully manage a renovation project from start to finish — whether it’s a premium private residence or a budget apartment. I handle everything from budgeting and permitting to coordinating work of any complexity on site, all the way to turnkey completion.
This means my clients don’t need to contact multiple companies for construction, furniture supply, and other services. In my contract, I clearly outline every contractor involved, their responsibilities, scope of work, cost, and timeline.
Some may say that anyone can organize processes. But the true advantage of working with me is peace of mind and confidence in achieving the desired result. There have been situations where we stepped into a project already in progress, and the critical questions were directed to the final contractor — because details matter.
That’s why I lead every project with a trusted team of professionals. I know the electrician will install the correct voltage panel. I know the floors, walls, and ceilings will meet proper leveling standards. And where a straight angle is required, it will be exactly 90 degrees. Inspections are scheduled and pass smoothly because all codes are followed precisely.
Owner’s Representative or Project management for Renovation
As the Owner and Project Director, I provide full-service renovation management with a focus on quality, transparency, and accountability. My clients choose me not only for premium European kitchens and innovative solutions like solar systems, but for structured leadership, strategic budgeting, precise execution, and a seamless turnkey experience.
When you work with me, you’re not just hiring a contractor — you’re partnering with an owner who takes personal responsibility for every stage of the project and guarantees clarity, control, and exceptional results.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Some of my brightest childhood memories are the moments spent with my family. My parents carefully and lovingly tried to instill culture and spirituality in me and my sister — we often visited museums, exhibitions, concerts, and the philharmonic.
Every year we flew to the sea, and those trips remain vivid highlights in my memory. I adored our family evenings and gatherings around the table. I still remember my father’s clear, ringing voice — he loved singing national songs.
My image of my mother has stayed with me as a stylish and charming woman, always surrounded by people who trusted her opinion and came to her for advice, knowing they would receive expert guidance.
And of course, it was a dream come true when my sister and I were given a silver poodle — our beloved family favorite.
