Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Posillico.
Hi Angela, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
ANGELA POSILLICO – CEO

Angela is no stranger to the Talent, Model and Entertainment Industry. Having studied music from age 5, Angela is an accomplished Singer and Dancer. Angela took part in the Readers Digest European Vocal Tour and was named “Female Vocalist of the Year”. Angela had studied with the finest teachers in the industry with regards to her dance and vocal abilities. Angela started her dance instruction with the Jan Le Winter Cultural Arts Center, where she studied Ballet and Jazz. She later went on to join the Carol Naso Dance Troupe, who was also the dance coordinator for the Miss America Contestants. Under Ms. Naso’s guidance, Angela furthered her studies in Tap and Jazz, along with instruction in Musical Comedy. Recently, Angela had the distinct pleasure of studying ballroom dancing with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, from “Dancing with the Stars” and owner of Dance with Me Studios.
With regards to her Vocal studies, Angela studied with the Troast Musical Studio, Ms. Ruth Hand (founder of the New York Light Opera Company), Ms. Allyson Starr (Television and Stage Personality), and took courses at Seton Hall’s Music Department.
Angela also graduated the Julliard Academy of Music in New York with a Master’s Degree in Operatic Studies.
Angela’s appearances include: The Jerry Lewis Telethon, Holland America Cruise Lines, the Princess Lounge at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and also toured with Jonathan’s Big Band, performing excerpts from “Phantom of the Opera”. Additionally, Angela is an amazing host and motivational speaker. She has been the host of Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week, Orlando International Fashion Week, The Miami Salsa Congress, The prestigious Mrs. U.S. Globe awards, and International Sunny Isles Fashion Show.
Angela’s pageant titles include: Mrs. New Jersey Globe 1996, and Ms. Morganville New Jersey US of A in 1997. Angela was also the New Jersey State Director for the Mrs. Globe Organization from 1997 to 2000, and was named “Director of the Year” for the Globe Organization in 1997.
Currently, Angela is the Fashion Show Coordinator and Chair person for the 100 Successful Women in Business Fashion Show, produced by the Global Trade Chamber.
In 2022, Angela was awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for empowering women through the Ms. International World Pageant.
Angela has also been published in the 100 Most Successful Women in Business Volume I, and was also the recipient of the 100 Successful Women in Business Award.
Recently, she received the “ICON” Award from Orlando International Fashion Week, for her involvement as their official fashion show host for the last 10 years.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For the most part, it has been a smooth ride.
Except for the time when my Dad took very ill, and I had to make a decision whether to be by his side, knowing that he may not make it, or go on stage and perform. I made the decision to perform on stage, because that is what my Dad would have wanted.
When he came out of his coma, he asked my Mom if I had performed that evening. She told him I did. A smile came on his face, he grabbed my hand, and said, “That’s my girl”!
It was a struggle, but in my heart, I made the right decision.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently, I am the CEO for the Ms. International World Pageant. Our motto clearly states, More than a pageant…More than just beauty…We are a “Way of Life” for All Women. We Empower them through a crown.
Our crown has been the “Key to Success” for so many women from around the world.
I specialize in helping other women achieve their goals, and this is what I am most known for.
I am also the host of my own TV show/Podcase, “Make Our World Your Runway”. The show can be seen on Roku TV, Spotify, and the Global Trad Chamber YouTube Channel.
What I am most proud, of was being selected to sing the National Anthem for President Nixon when he visited Hackensack High School, where I graduated from.
All of the above sets me apart from others. I am also humble, and truly believe, that whatever you accomplish in life, you never do it alone. There are many others that help you achieve your goals along the way!
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory was taking long rides on Sunday with my Mom and Dad.
