Today we’d like to introduce you to Enigma Labs.
Hi Enigma, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story started at 8 years old when I began taking Piano and Orchestra classes. I continued taking Magnet Music classes through High school, joining Choir, and learning instruments on my own as well as learning to record myself and how to produce. I went on to study Computer Science in University but I never stopped making music and expanding my Music Production skills. I started releasing my own music in College and have been working with other artists Producing and Recording their music for the past 6 years as well. Now I offer Visuals, and Web Development as well as Music Production, and Audio Engineering to other artists through my agency Engima Labs.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road by any means, Enigma first started as just a web development company as that is what I was going to offer at first but I didn’t stay consistent with it and decided to ultimately close it down a year later. After some time about a year after that, in continuing to develop my skills as a programmer and as an Audio Engineer I decided to open Enigma Labs, the audio visual agency. I’ve learned a lot along the way through trial and error, and learning from those around me. It is important to always be open to receiving new information and constructive criticism as well.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a full Audio Visual Agency offering Music Production, Audio Engineering, Photography, Videography, Graphic Design and Web Development. I am a one man team, with help from my co-producer and right hand man KHR!S João. We help artists develop their sound, image, and digital presence. If you need beats, recording, mixing and mastering, or visuals, we can help.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Consistency and the willingness to learn and improve are essential. If you stop you may never reach the goals you set, but if you continue trying you will eventually strike gold.
