Today we’d like to introduce you to Milos Vujovic
Hi Milos, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into the world of modeling was nothing short of unexpected. It all started completely at random, thanks to my cousin’s wife, who connected me to a modeling agency from Serbia. One day, they came to my home country, took some photos of me, and within a few days, I got a call saying that an agency in Milan wanted me to come over—within just 20 days. It felt like they were throwing me straight into the fire, but something about the challenge excited me.
At the time, I was 24 and in the final stretch of my bachelor’s studies, with only a couple of exams left. I had plenty of free time, so I thought, why not give it a shot? What started as a spur-of-the-moment decision quickly turned into a whirlwind career. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of traveling the world as a model, living in places like Milan, where I stayed for two years, as well as Istanbul, India, and China, each for a year.
During my career, I had the honor of working with some of the world’s most iconic brands, including D&G, Versace, Lamborghini, and Herno, to name a few. Each experience shaped me in different ways, not just as a model but as a person constantly absorbing new cultures and perspectives.
Fast forward to March of this year, after wrapping up a project with Herno, I decided to take a break and visit a family friend in Miami. Little did I know, this trip would completely change my direction. Miami has a way of connecting you to the right people, and through my friend, I met a network of amazing individuals who welcomed me into their world. One of them offered me a job as an IT specialist, something I had never anticipated. It felt like another unexpected challenge, but once again, I felt drawn to it.
Not only did I take the job, but I also enrolled in a Master’s program in Cybersecurity at St. Thomas University here in Miami. It’s been a whirlwind of a journey transitioning from the runway to the world of IT, but I’ve always believed in taking on new challenges and embracing every opportunity life throws my way. That’s what brought me here today.
As I settle into this new chapter of my life, I’m still hopeful that I’ll be able to return to modeling once I find my rhythm and carve out some time for it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve faced my fair share of obstacles along the way, but I’ve been fortunate enough to have unwavering support from my family and friends. Their encouragement has been a constant source of strength, making it easier to navigate and overcome each challenge I’ve encountered on my journey. With their backing, even the toughest moments felt manageable, allowing me to keep moving forward.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’ve had the unique opportunity to live and work in various countries, experiencing different cultures firsthand, which has given me a broad perspective both personally and professionally. While modeling has taken me around the world, I’m also a software engineer, currently pursuing my Master’s in Cybersecurity. This diverse background sets me apart by combining creativity with technical expertise. Additionally, I’ve trained as a soccer player for most of my life, and that experience has instilled in me a strong sense of discipline and responsibility, which I carry into everything I do, whether it’s modeling, IT, or my personal endeavors.
What does success mean to you?
Success, to me, is not solely about reaching a final destination or grand achievement. It’s about surrounding yourself with the right people—those you can trust, who genuinely want to see you thrive. Success is also found in the small, daily battles we face and overcome. Each of those victories, no matter how minor they seem, is a success in its own right. Together, they shape the journey that ultimately leads to larger achievements.
