I can say with confidence that my journey is a FUN one!
Travelling around the world to different countries, with different cultural environments and languages can be challenging, especially as a woman, and a mother. Not every country is ready to welcome you with open arms.
Architecture is a discipline that requires knowledge about the place where it is created, Fortunately Art is more universal, and that’s why it has accompany me all the time.
Going through this journey makes you more flexible, adaptative, enrichens you in every aspect of your personal and professional life. It certainly made me stronger and somehow wiser.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As an artist, my work is a vibrant exploration of identity, culture, and emotional expression, blending traditional and contemporary elements to create dynamic compositions. I draw inspiration from my cultural heritage, merging it with modern abstract techniques to evoke a sense of history and innovation. My pieces are characterized by fluid, organic shapes and bold, contrasting colors, creating a sense of movement and energy that invites the viewer into a rich tapestry of visual and emotional depth.
I often use mixed media, including acrylics, inks, collage and botanical elements, to build layers of meaning and texture in my work. This layering allows me to explore the complexities of identity and experience, making each piece a deeply personal reflection of my own journey.
A significant aspect of my art is raising awareness about the harm caused by deforestation. I integrate this theme into my work, using the abstract forms, branches and vivid colors to communicate the urgent need to protect our natural environment. My art becomes a platform for communication, as I seek to engage viewers in a dialogue about the impact of deforestation on our planet.
Discover this captivating fusion of art and activism in my work, where I not only explore aesthetic beauty but also address social and environmental issues. I integrate branches and botanical elements into my pieces, symbolizing the delicate balance of nature and the devastating impact of deforestation. These natural motifs serve as a powerful reminder of the interconnectedness of life, urging viewers to reflect on our responsibility to protect the environment. Through my art, I strive to inspire a deeper connection to nature and a commitment to preserving it for future generations.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I believe luck is a result of your actions and attitude. I learned really young that the world is like a mirror, when you smile, it smiles back at you! I live by this precept, and I consider myself a lucky person!
