Today we’d like to introduce you to Warren Scott. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Prior to starting comedy, Warren was a Real Estate Attorney and a former prosecutor. Warren tried on comedy class, and after the graduation show, he was hooked. Warren was one of the producers of the largest outdoor comedy festival in South Florida, ever. The Laughing Spree comedy festival in December 2021 featured such comedy giants as Jim Norton and Andrew Schulz.
Warren is the Producer of Off the Cuff Open Mic. This is an opportunity for local comedians to perform in front of Traveling Headlining Comedians for a chance to open for them on an upcoming show. Comedians and audience members alike participate in comic games throughout the night.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Producing a large festival at the tail end of COVID prevented many challenges. We never expected there to still be restrictions a year later when we started planning in 2020.

Making people laugh is amazing, but making them think is even better. Every really good joke has a point of view, that goes beyond the surface funny.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Going to sleep away camp in the mountains in New York.
