Today we’d like to introduce you to Marion Pigeot.
Hi Marion, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up immersed in the design world and always knew I wanted to pursue a career that would fulfill my creativity. Born and raised in France, it wasn’t until I moved to America in 2013 that I uncovered my purpose as a designer. Upon graduating with a degree in interior design, I worked as a designer at an award-winning Miami firm before transitioning into the graphic design industry.
Pursuing entrepreneurship at a young age, I was able to gain insights and understand different kinds of businesses. This enabled me to envision, illustrate, and dive deep into clients’ stories, creating designs that speak to them and connect to their ideal audience on a deeper level.
In 2020, after taking a few years to master my craft, I founded Modali Branding. With the traction I gained from past clients, I was able to make the transition to a full-time business owner sooner than anticipated and have been fortunate to never look back since.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting a business comes with a lot of responsibilities. I decided to strategically transition from my 9 to 5 to a full-time business owner by slowly working on my craft while I had the security of an employer. It gave me the confidence to start my journey as an entrepreneur and remove some risks from the equation.
Although I had that support, the path to entrepreneurship was far from easy. People tend to embellish the idea of being your own boss, having your own schedule, and creative freedom. And while a lot of this is true, it’s not always smooth and fun.
The biggest struggles I face are comparing my growth and work with others, having to wear all the hats and operate every part of my business, managing my time, and navigating the up and down moments that come with this career choice.
With every challenge comes a new opportunity. I can say with confidence that the mistakes and struggles I had (and still have) made me a better designer and business owner. I am also fortunate to have support from my loved ones, that give me energy when I need it the most.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Few people know the meaning of the name Modali and how it came about. When choosing a name for my business, I wanted it to be a reminder of where I came from. As a creative soul, I decided to come up with a name from scratch and give it my own definition –when you can’t find the answer anywhere, make your own story.
That’s when I fell in love with this name and its European phonetic – Modali, a name that celebrates European flair and American boldness. Beyond the cultural aspect, it translates to – What makes it stand out. Because I believe everyone was born with a unique talent and vision, and I am here to unveil yours.
