Today we’d like to introduce you to Trishston Pogue.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Trishston. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started designing Trish Atelier back in 2015. I’d recently moved to LA with a dollar and a dream but quickly found myself living out of the backseat of my car. I learned how challenging being a thriving creative entrepreneur really was but I was determined to win. Mid 2015, I scratched some money together and bought my first sewing machine, while living out of the backseat of my Volkswagen, I started teaching myself pattern making, fabrication, sewing, and garment construction! I saw that as my ambition grew my skills got more defined, with that bit of confidence and lots of faith to succeed I set up an Etsy shop for Trish Atelier! I remember crying when I got my first sale, lol, that money was my next meal! After I realized my brand was gaining visibility, I was eager to learn more about the biz side of things- the creativepreneur in me back then thought I knew it all or I could at least teach myself, so I started on my journey of learning while evolving in my creativity and designs daily and found a real love for the business side of running a brand! Today we are known for our vibrant colors and sexy designs- my passion has taken me from the backseat of my car to renown runways! I’m so happy to celebrate a milestone in both me and my brand’s career as we just walked LA Fashion Week 2019! We’ve recently expanded to a bicoastal brand with an Atelier here in LA and one in Miami, and our next goal is to walk Miami Swim Week and as a growing brand, I truly believe it’s in reach!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road, when I started I didn’t know anything about fabric sourcing, designing, or sewing- I had no connections just my ambition fueling the ride!

Trish Atelier is a womenswear brand, we specialize in swimwear and beachwear (that’s where we started) we are recognized for using vibrant colors and hand making never before seen designs. We are most proud of the love and body positivity our platform has allowed us to spread! We have pieces for size XXS-3XL and we are happy to celebrate women bring sexy right where they are!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Absolutely Nothing, I would have failed all the same and won all the same. Everything molded me and my brand to grow!
