Today we’d like to introduce you to Steve Jean-Charles.
Steve, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started my YouTube Channel because by watching other content creators, and one of them was my girlfriend, who I’ve been with for three years now. At once, I was afraid of being on camera, let alone a video due to exposure and bullying on school grounds. I told myself I would never partake in activities like that. However, after realizing that I wanted to do what other you tubers do I feel in love with it, making a video about TV shows, music, movies, and especially video games made me felt like “Woah I wish I could do that someday” and once I started doing it myself I never stop creating till this day.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Honestly speaking, it hasn’t been a smooth journey because of work, going to school, and taking care of other essentials it is very time-consuming and that’s when time management plays a key role in most of this journey. Most of the time, I would come up with ideas for my channel, I would try to schedule myself to do it on a certain day or set a day when the weather is nice and clear, or when I have the right amount of lighting haha in my recording area to do manifest my ideas into reality. However, when the time presents itself, a do one heck of a job.

Well, my channel SteveFactz is basically a brand that hopefully gives someone like myself, an opportunity to think outside the box allowing your imagination to fluster in ways you think of… when I vlog on my channel I travel to places that I’ve never been to in my life because I was told that Miami will forever be your home. I couldn’t help except that. For example, me and my homeboy went to California and of course, we were tourists obviously but it was amazing enjoying the view, sightseeing, yet I wanted to show people what is like to live there the pros and cons, and most importantly visualizing yourself living somewhere that will make you want to explore.
Part of my channel consists of reactions on TV shows, movies, music, and video games which most of the time I do breakdowns of those videos, furthermore, I do discussion videos which I like to call “Factz talk” where I discuss educational topics regarding the issues around the world.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I personally define success by giving back to your community, being a mentor, show them what you experience and creating the bonds of those people you help to make them successful.
