Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Gomez.
Ryan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Well, where to start? I’ve been an artist all my life, whatever beat was played, I can always harmonize to it and find melodies and flows in my head which would fit the beat, but it wasn’t until my teenage years that I took music seriously and started recording songs and looking for feedback from people and trying to gain fans and from that day forward, I kept pushing forward trying to become a bigger and better artist whom can give other people great tunes to jam out to with various sounds and moods for different occasions.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I don’t think anything that comes hard will be a smooth road. That being said, I didn’t face any big obstacles but some battles I did have to face were financial and also being able to find the right person/people whom I can work with and grow with.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
One thing that makes me proud as an artist is being able to reach people and actually have people listen to my music enjoy it and give me feedback. Something that separates me from others is my versatility inflows and sounds and capabilities of singing in different languages. I think being an artist with my own sound and ideas is what separates me from other artists/people.
Do you feel luck has played a role in your life?
I don’t believe in good luck or bad luck, but I do believe in destiny and whatever happens to us or whatever we face in life was set before us through God and He put those obstacles there, so we can get through them and persevere. So, with working hard, you will get good results being the good luck and if you slack and do wrong by yourself and others is when the back luck plays in.
