Today we’d like to introduce you to Rucht Doleo.
Rucht, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started this school about 2 years ago. I’m a fashion designer and many people asked me where to learn how to sew, pattern making and design? without going back to college for 2 to 4 years and pay thousands of dollars in college tuition.
I love my career as fashion designer, regardless, my mom was a teacher for many years and as a matter of facts, my first job was as a teacher back in my hometown in the Dominican Republic.
I saw and opportunity to combine both, so I created The Fashion Institute of South Florida
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Well, it’s not such a thing as a smooth road in life, never to say in business. I face challenges every day. For example getting students to sign up, finding the qualification help in order to grow the business, etc.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The Fashion Institute of South Florida story. Tell us more about the business.
The Fashion Institute of South Florida is a vocational fashion school that was conceived to bring the opportunity to creative individuals who are interested in launching a career in the fashion industry, without paying the high cost of regular fashion colleges. Our mission is to preserve the art and craft of fashion design by bringing together the best fashion industry professionals to teach lessons that inspire and educate students, home sewers, and the fashion curious.
These courses are designed to prepare students for any goal they have in mind, such as: creating their own clothing line, working in the fashion industry, or just sewing for themselves.
I like to say that we specialized in people, in helping the people to archive their dreams. We are known for the “hand on classes” we offer.
Most proud as a company because we are giving the opportunity to so many talented students to master the art of fashion design.
What set us apart is that even so, we are a vocational school, our curriculum is very professional and all the instructors are very well prepared to teach with many years of experience in the industry and as instructors.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
My good luck role for both my life and my company is always be happy and grateful.
