Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob Hernandez.
Rob, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Have been in the printing/advertising field for many years, worked as Art Director for a large company where I was also in charge of video editing and production of TV programming. Economy went south for the business and everyone but me got laid off, started working from home until I could no longer stand it and decided to open my own business. I like to restore cars and do hands on type of work but wanted to stay in the creative and advertising field, so I combined both passions by starting my signs and vehicle graphics business.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been hard, mainly mentally. Have been able to pay all bills for an entire year without having to pull $ from my personal account. Having worked in the graphics field and having a friendly help all type of personality has helped me stay in business with good accounts and leads that have landed me more clients. But specifically my best advertising has been my work. Businesses that have seen the work I have done for my clients have immediately called me for future jobs.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Good luck, I have had good luck throughout my life just by doing unto others how I would like to be treated. It has been a good formula.
