Today we’d like to introduce you to Nacho Velazquez.
Nacho, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
B- Elite Soccer started its business in the USA two years ago with the main goal of providing the best methodology of training in the world to American youth soccer players. This style of training is something different and not commonly found in the country until now. People are noticing the difference when they come to our training, or when we play against their teams.
For that reason, all of our academies in the country are quickly growing. We are proud to say that when a new player comes to try out our academy, they usually stay. In addition to our US training, we also provide opportunities for our players to compete in Spain against some of the best youth academies in the world, such as Real Madrid and FC Barcelona,
B-Elite Youth Soccer Academy is also offering a FREE training session with a complimentary player assessment by a UEFA certified coach to see how your child’s soccer skills compare with the top youth soccer players worldwide.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We know that it is a big challenge to compete for players in Florida, so we have brought one of the best Technical Directors from Spain right here to Boca Raton, Victor Torres. Victor has 11 years of experience as a coach and coaching director at top soccer teams and clubs in Spain, including UDA Gramenet and FC Barcelona.

BARCELONA METHODOLOGY.
B-Elite applies the best training methodology used by the top teams in the city of Barcelona. Players are selected according to the criteria of the Technical Department, in order to ensure that all program participants train and interact with players of the same level.
First-class technical coaching learned from extensive experience among first-class clubs at the European level such as FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol of Barcelona is provided at B-Elite Academy.
Additionally, Best Learning Experience focuses on improving each player in a competitive training environment. Lastly, we incorporate our main training values; Respect, Effort, Commitment, Honesty, Teamwork and Solidarity to create a holistic development environment for our players.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
We have learned many things since arriving in the US a few years ago. Of the many significant cultural and language differences, we understand the importance of fostering a personal connection to each child and their families. Generally speaking, this is something that seems to be lacking in the US soccer system.
Our technical directors periodically assess (on paper) each child’s development and meet with the families to understand strengths and improvement areas. Setting aside and investing this time to share information is a critical part in the continued growth of the players and ultimately of our teams and academies.
