Today we’d like to introduce you to Meenakshi Suri.
Meenakshi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Scene 1 – A little child in India. A deep connection established with Mother Earth; and a deep awareness of the light and shadows in human beings. I was raised in the consciousness that ‘for a large heart, all the world is family.’ A study of western and metaphysical psychology helped me to dive deeper into human psyche.
Scene 2- A mom establishing homes in different countries, trying to be ‘realistic’ in adapting to demands of society on herself and her children. I established Holistic Solutions for qualitative research and training, which showed me the power of groups and intercultural interaction. But internally, somehow, I had lost my way in this ‘real’ world.
As happens when we are at the end of a road, a way opened miraculously. This was in Singapore, where I reconnected to my essence through a rigorous journey into metaphysics, ancient healing methods, and meditation that led to a wonderful self-unfolding and initiation into Reiki Master. I realized that healing is a journey into wholeness. This process brought a new peace into my life. People who knew me sensed the change and began to ask me to teach them what I had learned.
Scene 3 – 20 years ago, we moved to the US for a year and have stayed on ever since. I continued to dive deeper, ground and soar while raising my children in a new land. Journey to Wholeness, my underlying practice, was born as I guided people to discover their whole self, moving through shadows, in the sacred ethers with Medicine Reiki, into sacred stillness within that connects us to Gaia: everyone and everything on Earth.
Scene 4 –Everything changed. I injured my back and could not accept the doctors’ suggestion that I subdue the pain with pills. Through a series of synchronicities, I came across an unfamiliar technique called Su Jok therapy. In one session, my back pain was gone with seeds applied on the back of my hand! The complete healing of the back took longer, but I was hooked into this natural, drugless, no-side-effects therapy. I learned the ways we can heal self and others through Sujok, Triorigin and Smile Meditation. and the floodgates opened. I began to teach everything I had learned.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The greatest challenge was to balance the time that a ‘regular job’ takes, with the time needed for this crucial work of helping to raise the vibration of this world.
There’s so much to do and not enough time to finish my books. ‘Gaia is Stirring’ is in the works, as is ‘Focus and Perspective’. Maybe it’s time to self publish ‘The Rainbow Child’.
It’s a challenge to stop myself giving tips to people who are not open to alternative healing methods, even though I see them suffering the side effects of pills or procedures. It’s a challenge I love to take, to show people that complementary therapies give quick results and even more important, lasting results for aches and chronic issues.
I am the only teacher of Sujok therapy certified by International Sujok Association in this part of the world, so it is a responsibility to teach as many people as possible.
That’s why each person who has learned Sujok therapy is so precious and so needed in today’s world.The unprecedented challenge of physical distancing has added to the challenge but as often happens, this challenge has become a new opportunity to teach globally without traveling, for now.
Please tell us about CoCreator Circle.
Recently, in a gathering of my students – many are life coaches, yoga instructors and the like – who are now Reiki healers and Sujok therapists, I realized that some of them are soaring, and others are ready to leap. All of them said that I had pushed or pulled them into a space which has transformed them into happier people. This was an amazing boost because I see that each of them has gained the consciousness, expertise, and knowledge required to be transformational healers and teachers.
The next scene was clear. I need to give them, and others like them, a platform to leap. So, synchronistically, in this leap year, I set up CoCreator Circle to help all who are ready to meet the greatest challenge the people alive today have faced: the challenge of wellness and health – mental and physical – in the face of an unknown, global threat.
CoCreator Circle was born. Not a moment too soon! Just days before the unprecendented worldwide closures of Covid-19, we launched.
CoCreator Circle offers classes, healing circles and meditation circles where I present sessions with along meditation and life coaches, ayurveda and qigong practitioners, yoga teachers, Sujok therapists and Reiki practitioners. People are reaching out everyday to present and teach on the platform!
For individuals, I’ve launched Ground to Soar, a signature program that offers a modular structured course with healing certifications. This consists of everything I have been teaching for many years: Crystal consciousness, lightwork, Nine response-abilities, Insight, Dreamspace, Sujok, Usui Reiki and Hoop Reiki. The course adapts to individual needs,and gives tools to work and earn all their lives.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Yes! Looking at the moon once, when I was away from my family and missing them, I realized that they were looking at the same moon. This brought me tremendous solace. In today’s world, when we’re grappling with new realities, focusing on this larger perspective makes me realize how closely we can relate to everyone as we perch on Pachamama, our planetary home.
