Meet Mariane Fahmy of Tres Chic Event Planning & Design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariane Fahmy.

Mariane, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always had a passion and an eye for design, creating beautiful things that are so elegant & head turning, handled so many different types of events for friends, family, and church. But of course, I never pursued my passion professionally due to other life obligations.

Being an Executive Director in the corporate world for 20 years taught me quite a few things and I continue to learn every day. I have a creative side which shines through my love and passion for luxury wedding design, event creation, and planning. Event planning falls right in place with operations and timelines which are natural to me. Being able to multitask, adapt, constantly be organized, and have people skills are very important. You have to know how to handle different situations and personalities.

I finally decided to pursue what I love and have a passion for. I took the wedding & planning certification course to understand the business side and founded Très Chic Event Planning & Design and here we are today.

I’m loving it!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing is ever a smooth road if you want to be successful. Being still in the growing stages of my company I’m so blessed and thankful to be where I’m at today. I couldn’t have done it without my husband’s full support and belief in me and my capabilities, along with a great and supportive team.

Nothing happens on its own. I had and continue to work on putting my business name out there through media exposure. That, of course, has to be backed up by the quality of service and execution of what is promised to our clients. Thanks be to God 1st and the dedication that the team provides, Très Chic has been able to put its mark and establish its presence and reputation.

Très CHIC is a certified full-service company that specializes in unique wedding event planning & luxury creative design. We customize our packages to fit our client’s needs & budget whether it is full wedding planning and execution, partial planning, the month of coordination, floor plan or design.

At Très CHIC we do more than plan weddings and events! We offer additional services that we come highly recommended for like: custom centerpieces, custom luxury real touch silk flower bouquets and bridal party matching items. All handmade and custom-designed by Très Chic. Social events are another service we offer, baby showers, bridal showers, and much more!

Our passion and love for what we do what makes us different. We are experienced in different cultures and work with our clients to bring their vision to life with multilingual staff in English, Arabic & Spanish to tend to our customers!

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I don’t know that I would change too much! I’m very grateful and thankful for everything that I went through regardless if it’s personal or business because it made me who I am today.
