Today we’d like to introduce you to Luz Paz.
Luz, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
The insecurity of my country, Venezuela made me take the decision to rebuild my life, leaving behind a world of family and a stable job.
I got my first job in Indiana, in a Homegoods warehouse, taking out boxed merchandise. It was another world for me.
We moved to Miami with nothing but a suitcase full of desires to work. As they say, with one hand forward and one hand backward, holding on to God’s hand.
We started in Miami doing balloons for an expo event, people loved our balloon style. Companies, TV Stations and celebrities started contacting us. Our decorations are admired by celebrities such as Kris Jenner, Marc Anthony, Tommy Hilfiger, Adamari Lopez, Maluma, Nacho, etc.
Also, one of my dreams has been to let people know all the abilities that God has given each and every one of us.
I have always liked to teach and decided to give courses on decoration. I want to give them the necessary tools to be economically independent. This has been food for my soul. Seeing my students succeed, opening their own businesses. Women being the main source of income for their homes fills me with a lot of pride and I feel that my purpose in life is complete. I work side by side with my husband, and that has been an inspiration for other men to also join the courses and learn how to decorate and become a strong support and grow in business with their spouses.
I am very happy knowing that our courses of decorations and ideas have opened doors of prosperity, new businesses, in women and men who come from all around the world and who did not know the skill that they have in their hands and that all this has gone around the world and international companies as GEMAR, a prestigious factory of Balloons in Italy, that admire our work and certified us as a GEMAR Ambassador, in Italy and will be giving course in other countries.
I love my work, encouraging and educating in the art of decoration, inspiring others not to be discouraged by the setbacks that occur in life but to be BE UNSTOPPABLE AND TRIUMPH!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, I found a lot of people trying to stop me, telling me no, closing every door. People telling me “you’ll never make it!”, “you won’t be famous.”

What I love about my job is that I like how I can transform spaces with balloons into something wonderful and unforgettable. Our style and beautiful combinations of colors is my strength.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m currently planning to have more branches, banquet halls, and my own TV program.
