Today we’d like to introduce you to Lore Anghel.
Lore, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Everything happened pretty organically. I’ve been passionate about skin care and makeup ever since, I was a little girl. I was probably 8 years old, when I put on eyeshadow for the first time. As a teenager and young adult, I was always concerned with my appearance and I was constantly looking out for new beauty tips and tricks. Only years later, did I actually pursue a career in the beauty industry. I got my CCE, CME and laser tech license first, which opened the door to the world of medical beauty. I, then got my esthetics license and ultimately my tattoo license. On top of that, I achieved several other certifications. Because I do what I love, I do not have to “work” a day in my life and for that I am extremely grateful!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth world, it still isn’t. But, I’ve learned how to handle the obstacles and turn them into learning experiences. I’ve always wanted to be a part of something big, extraordinary. And while working to achieve others’ dreams, as an employee, I realized I’d never be content enough.. so, I started working on my own dream. This is how “Brows by Lore” was born.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Brows By Lore – what should we know?
I currently only do permanent makeup and lash lifts a.k.a. lash perms. I specialized in Microblading, which is a manual permanent makeup technique for eyebrows. Because eyebrow trends come and go, I believe in achieving the most natural look for my clients’ brows, that’ll always be in style. Working with doctors and also being an educator for a little while, contributes to my commitment to providing my services in the highest sanitary environment possible. I use only sterile, single use, disposable supplies and made in the US skin pigments. I’ve taken many paths in my career but, I’ve always been compassionate, having my clients’ best interest at heart.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I have to give it to my husband, for always being supportive, my rock. And oh, yes, I’ve had many mentors. I am on a constant learning process and being a part of numerous support groups I always seek advice on how to improve my skill. The person that I always turn to though, is the artist that I’ve learned the microblading craft from, Alexandra Puscas, owner of Esthetic-Lines.
