Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Bloom.
Nicole, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My story has only just begun. It consists of chapters that still need finishing, chapters that were never intended to be written or short-lived, and chapters that explain every single triumph that brought me here today with you. Some chapters are painful, really painful. Years of emotional warfare with a former family member, unrelenting bullying at school, life-threatening experiences, and more.
The remainder of the chapters, be that as it may, reveal the blooming success and fulfillment of my life to be worth the rain. I hope my story shines some light on your personal growth, your unlimited potential, your ever-growing power to decide what you make of your life, regardless of your experiences.
As a result of my series of ultimate pain at a young age, I learned things that school could have never taught me. I learned how to be emotionally strong and resilient. I never knew how to face my challenges, but somehow, I always knew how to keep being myself. If all I had was me, I was going to be me with all that I had. Positivity naturally has always made me feel powerful. Positivity has always led me to discover perspectives that I knew, for a fact, negativity would blind me of. I came to learn that if you say something about yourself long enough, good or bad, it comes to be true. Life is a language of experiences. If you stop and look at the metaphors of life, they always speak to you.
Love is the number one reason why I do anything in life. To explore it in places, in people, and in any/all circumstances. To find love just to give it away. To keep it alive so that everyone can experience it. Together for ten years with my husband, I am reassured that love will always be a guiding force of life. How we love ourselves, how we love others, how we love our jobs, how we love life, and how to change what we have not yet learned to love. My purpose is to help others discover their needs, communicate them, and plant the perspectives that will support those needs. A mindset mentor, communication coach, a constant student of life, there is nothing else I would rather be. I can say with confidence that when I let go of expecting dreams, I discovered my destiny.
Has it been a smooth road?
By this point of my life, my path has been a balance of both smooth and unpaved roads. For a lot of my life, my path was bumpy and uncertain. There was love to fuel my drive. Yet, more often than not, the view of who I was seemed foggy. Every decision felt like a crossroads, with no signs or directions to guide me. My biggest struggle in sum was believing in myself.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
My business is the backbone of my purpose. Without the business aspect of being a mindset mentor or communication coach, I could not fulfill my purpose, which is to creatively influence self-awareness and utilize that awareness as a tool for personal or professional growth. I am known for my ability to structure quality questions and structure precise action planning in a way that creates positive change. Change of perspectives, decisions, and actions.
What I am most proud of in my business is the relationships that it has built within my community, along with people around the world. There is an extraordinary connection that develops when people are vulnerable with one another when people are given permission to be their true and authentic selves. What sets me apart from others is my ability to relate. To have the education and experience of what I specialize in. To teach something you learned is a beautiful thing. But to teach something you know is a profound involvement. Naturally, I gravitate towards the well being of others. That is one of my biggest distinctions from others. It’s not just a business for me. It’s a way of life.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Our city is the ideal place for personal and professional growth in communication. If someone were just starting out, I would recommend being a part of the community in every way possible. Building relationships and learning about the needs of others and how those needs affect their daily lives. Miami is a great place to start. On the other hand, the truth of the matter is that everyone needs a mentor regardless of where they are from.
Our city could improve in my profession in regards to opportunity. Many businesses or business people feel that the quality of their lives must be put aside for the quality of their work. But it is that very reason why they should be actively involved with a mentor or coach. The quality of our lives is where we live emotionally. Our city is competitive, fast-paced, and constantly evolving. We are people before we are professionals. We are free before we are trapped in societal pressures and expectations. If we begin to include opportunities to enhance emotional well being, the possibilities of our personal and professional lives are endless.
