Today we’d like to introduce you to Lakinya Francis.
Lakinya, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Looking for a source of additional income that wouldn’t require too much of an investment of either time or money, Lakinya Francis owner of iKrave Vending discovered an opportunity to start-up a small vending machine service company. Though the initial start-up cost was reasonably affordable and my efforts took no time away from my full-time work, I found that finding high-quality equipment that wouldn’t break the bank and then obtaining locations in which to place my machines proved to be a challenge. However, my tenacity finally paid off after months of searching for a used machine that met my expectations I was able to soon start enjoying the profits after placing my first vending machine in a local mechanic’s shop.
After growing my own vending business, I decided to offer consultations and mentorship using my knowledge and expertise to others looking to achieve the “American Dream” by writing ebooks and creating courses on how to start their very own vending machine business. More recently, I have expanded my knowledge and services by helping 100’s of hairstylists, salon owners and makeup artists on how to start their very own beauty vending business. My clients are from all over the United States, Canada, Europe and even clients in Australia.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Some of the struggles were finding quality locations and understanding what to place in the vending machines in order to really profit in the business.

Ikravevending offers a variety of teaching tools. We have ebooks, courses, one-on-one consultations and mentoring up to 30 days to those looking to start in the business. We are known for offering a top-notch experience and really coming to each client’s level and helping them where ever they are. I am proud of the customer service that I am able to provide each client. Every client is differ, some are already business owners looking to leverage their investments and some have no idea of how to start a business. My business is different because I meet the customer where they are. So, if they need help with just finding a machine I can help with that, if they need help from A to Z I can help with that, if they need me to hold their hand I can help with that through mentorship.

My mentors, Chad Kelly of Homestead Florida guided me through business ownership and encouraged me to go to the next level of business by offering multiple services and not just offering vending machines in locations.
