Meet Kiel Pollitt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiel Pollitt.

Kiel, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My health journey has come a long way over the last 9-10 years when I first got into health. I attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC and then relocated to L.A. Living in Los Angeles. I worked for several health companies and deepened my understanding of health and wellness. Eventually, I opened a cold-pressed juice bar on Melrose in West Hollywood called L.A. Juice. I have a huge passion for juicing as it helped clear up my skin from cystic Acne in my college years. I think of juice as my daily multivitamin of fresh raw food. I’ve never been one for strict juice cleansing, but believe its wonderful to incorporate into your daily routine. There is still an L.A. Juice in Tokyo, Japan that serves up our original California recipes.

I am a Florida native and after living in LA for almost a decade, I was ready to move on. I have always loved Miami, the weather, the lifestyle, the crystal clear water, and fresh seafood. It’s a wonderful place to practice holistic health.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Helping people feel better and see physical results is very rewarding. Sometimes clients are resistant to making changes such as to give up caffeine, alcohol, sugar or gluten if those are areas in which someone needs to dial it back a bit.

Please tell us about Kiel Pollitt.
I consider myself a holistic health coach that specializes in cleansing and transitioning people to eating a whole food diet that they can live with on a long term basis. Consistency is key, so making things super strict won’t support a client in the long run. I love doing pantry clean outs where we go grocery shopping and restock their homes with better alternatives.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Miami is such a diverse International city with people from all over the world. Every area is so unique whether you’re in Miami Beach, Wynwood, Brickell or Coconut Grove there are beautiful things to do and see. Moreover, the beaches are just spectacular and winter isn’t bad either. Traffic can be bad and the driving styles aren’t the best but that’s a struggle in many major cities.
