Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I wouldn’t say that it has been smooth, but in the end, it was gratifying!
I feel like discovering your purpose is one of those things everyone glamorizes, but not everyone is willing to take leaps of faith to discover it.
I struggled a bit at the beginning of my journey because I didn’t understand I was on a journey in the first place. I was frustrated when certain doors kept closing, and it seemed like things weren’t moving. I figured along the way that Lord was refining and taking me through an intense season of character development.
My biggest struggles, I would say, were getting through the current discomfort to be able to produce a harvest and mastering contentment in every season.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I do a lot lol I own a hair care business called HN Hair Care. I develop products that help women to embrace and grow their hair. I also have a personal brand in which I discuss more faith-based matters. I’m a Christian dream interpretation coach, and consultant and I enjoy helping others biblically understand their dreams. I am also an author and have released a book entitled “Cracking the Dream Code: A Biblical and Practical Approach to Dream Interpretation.” I am proud of my business and brand because the Lord used what I had in my hand. It’s amazing how He doesn’t waste the desires in your heart; He helps bring it to fruition. What sets me apart from others is that I am determined to help others do better and grow in different areas of their lives, whether it be something like hair care or even spiritually.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is not money and fame. Unfortunately, a lot of our generation believes this. I define success as accomplishing your God-given purpose. You can make all the money you want, and everyone may know your name, but if you’re still living an unfulfilled life, is that really success?
