Meet Jenna Leigh Miller of New York City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Leigh Miller.

Jenna Leigh, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
HEY! My name is Jenna Leigh Miller I am a Tony Award viewing actress based in New York City. I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from Otterbein University. I first came across Musical Theatre on a Brownies trip to NYC, when I saw Beauty & the Beast, ever since then I was hooked! I started singing at a young age of 3 years old, at my local church. I truly was singing before I was talking. I have been working regionally since summer freshman year of college, where I played Martha Cox in High School Musical in Salem, Oregon.

In college I also had friends ask me where I was finding auditions and asking if I could help them find new audition songs. That’s when the lightbulb hit! This is a business! May 2019 I had an official Launch Party in New York City to launch Problem Solved. Theatre & Brand Coaching for ALL Artists.

When COVID hit it was actually a blessing in disguise, I got to commit full time to my biz! Ever since then I have never looked back. A year+ later and here I am with 2 Employee and helped hundreds of Artists.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Problem Solved started off as a side biz. Before the pandemic I had 5 day jobs plus Auditioning full time PLUS Problem Solved. Finding the time to show up and manage all these different things was extremely tiring. They don’t call it “the grind” for nothing! But once I got more time, I was about to create a sustainable schedule, that I still follow to this day! After that happened, my biz blew up!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Theatre & Brand Coaching for artists in the entertainment industry. From finding your dream job, prepping for that big audition to making sure your online brand is on point to create more opportunities for yourself. I teach my clients the strategies and how to maintain them. So after out time together ends, what I taught them is sustainable.

I am definitely not cookie cutter and neither is my work. All of my services are based on the clients needs and wants. All the material I recommend is hand chosen with the client in mind.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I am more a good things come to those who work their a*ses off kinda gal. It’s when preparation meets luck, THAT is when the magic happens!
