Today we’d like to introduce you to Garry and Geary Evans.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Hello, I’m the President and Chief Executive officer at Evans Brothers production Corp. I started my company four years ago, me and my brother Geary Latiamy Evans came to the United States of America when we were 16 years old, moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida live there with our Mom, who we move from Jamaica with my younger brother, we were living in Port St. Lucie ending up moving to Fort Lauderdale because our Mom got a job down here and due to our girlfriends that we were dating, their parents didn’t like us because we’re black, it was hard moving away from her but had to make that decision. Fast forward, started going to Piper High School in Sunrise, Florida where we were teased and made fun of us because we’re immigrants and we didn’t dress like everybody else and we always had big dreams since we were kids. Told everyone we went to America and go to Hollywood, California and make movies and television shows, they laughed at us but we didn’t care, we continue and the day came when our Mom told us we are moving to America, we’re happy and excited, her dad file for our residence and we started our company in 2014. It’s been a long journey, started working on film sets and tv show as extras, we saw the behind the scenes, it was amazing, we said to ourselves one day that we’re gonna be us and in 2016, we became a corporation, we went from Garry Evans Production to Evans Brothers Production Corp., our company’s first project was sag afta new media web series dirty deals the series, then same Girl the series and dirty Heels the movie and mother in law the series, all available on Amazon Prime video, then we started situations the series. Now, we are working full time at Home Depot while pursuing our film and television business and in the span of 2-3 years, we open up our garryandgearytv Channel and started our clothing line biggandlilgcollection and our own e-commerce store Evans Brothers production store.
Everything we dreamed of finally happening. Looking back, we came far from people laughing at us about having big dreams and still working at your night job and day job but we told ourselves, we won’t borrow loans, we rather work hard and get money to build our business and we did it, things really started to pick up when our horrible made film Corrupt film made us famous, trending at 10,000 views on our YouTube channel Evans Brothers production Corp. and now, we are getting attention when we are out in the mall, etc. People say you guys are the Evans Brothers still and now, we have our Podcast on Spotify, Google Podcast, amazing feeling but we still say we have a long way to go. Our company made it without no sponsors and no investors.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road especially when your family and friends don’t support you. Finding money to film was hard and location and finding reliable actors and actress, not just the ones who wanna use us to gain fame and we use multiple times like that, so trusting everyone is not easy.
Investors didn’t have anybody that wanted to fund our dreams because they thought we weren’t fit for the position but we went out and got two-three jobs to make it happen and today, we are happy we didn’t give up because nobody like us or support us.

I’m a filmmaker and entrepreneur.
Evans brothers Production Corp is film and television studio started by Garry and Geary Evans which is me and my twin bro and which company operates four different more companies.
We are proud we came along way restless and lonely nights, sometimes sleeping on set and sleeping inside the mall, but we are glad for our struggle, without it, we would have not been here.
We do music videos, tv shows, movies, events, Photoshoots, Film, and music distribution.
We go above and beyond for our customers and putting them first at Evans Brothers Production, we are a family.

No, we didn’t have any mentors, my Brother Geary Evans, my co-founder, Vice President, and CFO,
our mom who even though she complains, still let us film at her house.
