Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Andrea. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am born and raised in Toronto Canada, and started from the bottom now I’m here (had to throw in a drake lyric), I started my career in eyelash extensions in 2014 when the industry was very new. I was working a full-time job, had a son, and was a single momma. Working 9-5 but then lashing 6 pm-10 people for extra income. I was doing well! But eventually was going to burn out. I clocked out of my career J-O-B 2015 and I never looked back.
I moved to the USA two years ago and started my business here in Orlando. I grew a huge clientele (through networking, social influencers and word of mouth). I now own my own studio downtown Orlando, have my own product line, and have begun career coaching for a woman in the beauty industry. The sky is the limit and I just keep growing and going.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Uhhh, this is my first major setback. Coronavirus. However, the strong ones will survive. It’s all about the comeback from the setback!!!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Eye Create Her – what should we know?
I am the CEO of Eye Create HER, a career coaching program that helps business owners to the next level in their business. I am also a lash trainer and lash artist. I am very proud of the company I have created because I love my competition (sounds crazy right?), but I feel as if there’s enough business for all of us. The only way to get busier is to work smarter. Never compete and always come out on top!
What sets me apart? Probably the realness I have when it comes to really lifting other women up. I really like to see people succeed and truly believe it’s my passion.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Compassion and Customer Service. Being able to relate to how others are feeling at any point in their lives. Customer service is top-notch! Always! I will never let someone leave unhappy.
