Today we’d like to introduce you to Douglas Dimumbrum.
Douglas, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born and raised in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. A country that is very multi-cultural and offers a grand variety of colorful options to develop my photographic eye. I moved to Miami since it is a city with very much the similarity and the diversified cultural that my country has.
Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest challenge that I have encountered is learning the business system and protocols of this country. And obviously starting from scratch in achieving my goals since it’s a very competitive city.
We’d love to know more about your business.
My forte is reporting on maternity and family matters, but I am more inclined towards the fashion world.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I truly love the diversity of its people as well as the architectural design that this city offers. And what is most inspiring is the variety of places and the colorful mosaic of its people.
