Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
For ten years, I worked for a telemarketing company as a salesperson, at first I was happy with my job but I always knew that it was not what I really wanted to achieve in my working life, in 2016 my husband proposed to start a business together, he worked in The construction industry in the area of hardwood flooring, he was already an expert, at that time I did not pay much attention to his proposal since I was not ready to leave my job of so many years, but in 2018 I had my first child and I started working from home, that’s when I saw my opportunity to start Vogue Parquet with my husband, little by little I was leaving my job to get more involved in the hardwood flooring industry, it was very exciting every day that I was learning more and knowing about wood, when we did our first project the client was extremely happy and satisfied with the service we provided and that happiness remained engraved on me and since then I have only one goal to achieve our clients’ vision into reality. At Vogue Parquet, we treat clients like royalty and with respect, we offer what no other hardwood flooring contractor in Miami can offer and that’s a professional and efficient installation. We believe we just don’t offer a service we do art.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The beginning was not easy at all, I was a novice in the world of wood flooring, I had to learn a lot, read and improve myself, little by little, I was gaining knowledge, but in 2019 I had my second son, I already had a one and haft year-old boy, with the second baby everything was more difficult, my days were very long and my nights too, but my desire to achieve a successful business and provide the service that no other contractor offered in Miami was much stronger, the clients were recommending us and our services since we gave them a very pleasant and professional experience from the beginning of their project to the end and so little by little Vogue Parquet was standing out from the competition.
