Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristina Sosa and Sarah MacMillan.
Cristina Sosa, Founder of RAW Residency & Sarah MacMillan, Founder of Be Generation Love, both influential entrepreneurs for many years, came together to co-found – THE PAUZE, a cultural experience that transforms through movement and sound. Both Miami natives since 1996, they established their career in Miami with different paths but similar missions of building communities on a grand scale in the personal development sector.
A little background about the founders…
Cristina Sosa began her career as a professional dancer touring and sharing the stage with world-renowned artists such as Pitbull, Daddy Yankee and many more. She later became an entrepreneur, public speaker, and movement activator, when she launched her consulting firm, yNESS Connect with a focus on building communities, specializing in membership clubs. Sosa has build/shaped communities for Soho Beach House, Casa Tua, 1Hotel South Beach, Spotify and many more. In 2017, she decided to create @rawresidency, a membership-based community for next-generation seekers and leaders who believe in the spirit of collaboration, to strengthen each other’s personal and professional capabilities.
Sarah MacMillan is a speaker, transformational coach, breathwork and sound Healer based in Miami. In her early years, Sarah owned Meduhr, a Day Spa on Biscayne Blvd and produced concerts worldwide for Latin-American artists. Today, she is the Founder of @begenerationlove, a digital platform that offers online memberships, courses, and healings, creating a movement of people seeking a way to self-heal. Sarah has studied and collaborated with many experts in the area of personal development, meditation, and spirituality and has built a mindful and conscious community in Miami, inspiring people to connect back to their hearts in order to live a more loving, balanced, conscious, and purpose-driven life.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
After many years of experience, and individually devoting their lives to their personal growth, THE PAUZE was born through their understanding of how important it is to PAUZE in order to PLAY and how hard it can be to even attain it. They look at “struggles” as opportunities and guidance to manifest their vision. They believe that when doors close better and bigger ones will open. In other words, they FLOW and allow things to happen to FOR them, not TO them.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with THE PAUZE – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
The Pauze specializes in mass experiences to allow individuals to take responsibility for their lives fulfillment.
What sets them apart from anyone else is their core belief of The Pauze’s mission, that without THE PAUZE and PLAY integration, it is impossible to attain balance and happiness in one’s life.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
As far as future plans, The Pauze will begin a worldwide tour, with their number one purpose in mind, which is to spread a culture that transforms. They will begin in Miami, Sept. 21st, 2019 – honoring International Peace Day. Stay tuned, for more details visit www.thepauze.com.
On Aug. 15th, 2019, they will be doing their monthly FULL MOON EDITION cultural experience, to PAUZE and cultivate a culture that transforms. The first part of the experience, there will be a movement portion lead by Cristina Sosa from @rawresidency, to awaken and active all that is needed to let go of, followed by a sound experience led by Sarah MacMillan from @begenerationlove, to release and gain The.PAUZE you need in order to PLAY.
Tickets include access to the event (7PM-9PM) and to the Full Moon after-party at the 1 Hotel Rooftop (9PM-12AM.) There will be DJ+Drummer duo, Tarot Card Readings, a Pop Up Shop and a (1) complimentary Specialty Mezcal cocktail from Gem + Bolt per ticket!
