Today we’d like to introduce you to Beth Levin.
Hi Beth, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always been organized, even putting my Barbies away after playing as a little girl. When I got older, I used to organize friends’ closets for fun. One day, I was home sick from my job as a publicist and watching Oprah. On this episode was a professional organizer, Julie Morgenstern. I couldn’t believe that someone had taken my passion and made a job of it. I decided that was for me. My business, Closet Queen, will celebrate 20 years in business in July 2021. Today, Closet Queen serves homeowners in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, organizing any space in the home, providing comprehensive moving and unpacking services as well as closet design and installation.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I take great pride in making my clients happy and believe that is why I have been in business so long. My business was tested during the 2008 recession, though. Many people were unsure of the economy and not spending discretionary income on organizing their spaces. I am so thankful that I survived it.

I believe my job is to make my clients’ lives easier. Oftentimes, a cluttered space can either be caused by or result from depression. I always tell my clients that they will feel a load off their shoulders when I organize and clear their space – and it’s true. My goal is to leave with happy customers, which is why I love my job so much!
What were you like growing up?
I have always been organized. Everything had it’s place in my room and I always put toys back after I played with them. I was in community theater from an early age and wanted to be an actress when I was very young. Oh well! 🙂
