Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Seamans.
Pet sitting started out by accident for Andrea. She always had a passion for animals and understood them in a way that no else could. In 1997 at the age of 19, her aunt gave her a summer job to pet sit her dog. Little did she know, in 2000 she started rescuing and rehabilitating dogs who have been abused, and neglected. Andrea then started volunteering for local Miami and Broward non-profit animal rescue organizations, such as Friends of Greyhounds, Sabbath Rescue, and 1 Lucky Dog Rescue.
In 2010, Andrea decided to go ahead and make her up-rising pet sitting job into a LLC and named it after her late Jack who crossed over the rainbow in 2014 from cancer.
“I always called Jack wiggle waggle butt, because his little stubby tail was always wagging along with his butt. I was trying to think of a name for my business and it just hit me…Wiggle Waggle Tails.”
Between the years of pet sitting and rescuing, she got her certification in Animal Behavior from Animal Behavior College in 2006. This only enhanced her understanding of the animal language even more. She uses her knowledge to help evaluate rescue dogs, and help her clients understand their pets more.
Andrea was also a proud kennel helper and dog daycare supervisor at Country Inn Pet Resort from 2006 – 2009 where she got to meet great people and pets.
In 2013, Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Film and TV Production from Miami Dade College School of Entertainment and Design Technology. Her thesis film Miami’s Pit Fall was a success in her class and has been recognized as the “Official Selection” in several Florida Film Festivals of 2013 and 2014, and showcased at the 2013 Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival.
She plans to take her talent and continue to make short films on animal welfare and animal rights. Andrea also developed a passion for pet photography over the years and loves to capture animals in “their moment.”
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Pet sitting and pet photography are gigs that you get every so often. They come and go, but when we are booked soild my team is there to make it easy, and we are able to accommodate all of our clients in one way or another.
My sitters are my lifeline. Without them I would be going crazy and nothing will be easy. Plus we have the best clients! Which always makes things easier!
We’d love to hear more about your business.
We specialize mainly in Pet Sitting. Pet Photography is secondary, only because our pet sitting services are always in high demand. I think what sets us from the others is that not only do we care for our client’s dog while they are on vacation or on a business trip…we really CARE for their pets, as if they were our own. We’ve gone above and behind for our clients, just because we actually care.
We fall in love which each and every pet that we care for. I’ve even been with them on their last day on earth. I have a very special unique bond with animals (as my clients say) My clients are my family and I think that’s what sets me a part from all the others out there.
What were you like growing up?
Oh boy! I was very quiet, but I always voiced my opinion on topics I felt passionate about. I’m still like that today.
I have a disability called Cerebral Palsy and I always felt like I was the underdog, and misunderstood so my love for animals/videography and photography became not just my passion, but my job. I think that’s why I have such a unique bond with animals. Because I understand them in a way that no one else can.
I always felt like I needed to help those that have no voice or those that are misunderstood (Animals and people).

What a wonderful and well-deserved article about Andrea. She is truly an awesome person in multiple ways. She has one of the most kind and caring hearts of anyone I know. She cares for my dogs when I travel. My dogs are family and there are very few people I will trust to take care of them. She loves and cares for them as if they are her own. I always know they are in the best hands ever with Andrea!!! I hope and pray the all her dreams are realized because if anyone deserves it, she does!

Yes! She’s the best and she loves my babies so much. I can go on vacation with my eyes closed. That’s the only company i trust to take care of my dogs.

Thank you!
After looking and looking for someone to take care of my cats when I take trips away from home, I lucked up on Andrea’s website. It was my lucky day when she agreed to take care of my four cats. Andrea is professional but friendly and especially loving to my furry animals, even taking photos of them and sending them to me – all which serve to put my mind at ease about my babies.
One time, she didn’t see one of my cats and took it upon herself to come back to my house three times in one day, just to look for my Luna, who was hiding away in a closet. No one else would have gone above and beyond like Andrea, a true cat whisperer!
