Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Montana.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Amanda. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m a 23 years old born and raised in Miami, Florida. Fashion has always been a huge part of my life and has always allowed me to express myself. At the age of 18, I got my first job at a little boutique in Miami Lakes and I absolutely loved it! It was so much fun and I learned a lot. I am currently in nursing school pursuing my BSN.
My dream is to specialize in pediatric oncology and I have my eyes on the prize! 2020 has been tough but it has also given me the opportunity to do some Sol searching! I decided to take a leap of faith and open an online boutique of my own and the sky is the limit! House of Sol Boutique will be live on October 30th and I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would have to say that I have struggled on building from the ground up. It’s very hard to keep a positive mindset but success is the only outcome I’m going after!
Please tell us about House of Sol Boutique.
House of Sol Boutique is meant to empower women and have women everywhere feel confident in themselves!
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
As a child, I used to spend my weekends back and forth between soccer tournaments and cheerleading competitions, sometimes both on the same weekend. I played soccer for about 12 years and I always loved cheerleading. I was even captain of my high school cheerleading team! I always loved sports but never missed an opportunity to get dressed up and feel all girly. I loved always being on the go and always doing something I loved!
