Meet Alyssa Jansheski of Alyssa Morgan at The Jills Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Jansheski.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Alyssa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs but grew up spending holidays in South Florida at my family’s condo. Growing up, one of the most memorable moments I have while visiting Miami was taking the tour boat by the waterfront mansions of the Miami Beach Islands. Now, I sell those waterfront mansions.

I started my business and my first listing was a $10 million waterfront home on North Bay Road. I bought the listing to Jill Eber to co-list with me so I could learn the ropes from the best in the business. We ended up selling the property representing both buyer and seller. I was only 21 years old at the time of the sale. The credibility of this sale is what really put my name on the map. I was able to continue the pace with the momentum of the sale and the media picked up the story up. Shortly after, I was recognized as “One of the Top Young Real Estate Professionals in the World as 30 Under 30” by Coldwell Banker Global Luxury.

I have since joined The Jills, the #1 Team in Florida ranked by the Wall Street Journal with over $3.42 billion in sales since 2005. Until this last year, the team has been only family for over 30 years. It’s been an absolute game changer for my business. As a team, we are in constant discussion of what active buyers are out there and what properties we can connect them with. We create deals right and left collaborating together.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Building a business and brand is very challenging, but I live for the excitement of a challenge! All of my greatest challenges have moved me one step closer to making that change to get me where I want to be.

One of my greatest challenges has been overcoming my young age. People like to associate youth with inexperience. One way that I have been able to overcome this was with my sales. Other strategies include thinking outside the box and becoming known for my social media marketing, something that comes quite natural to me because of my generation. I also make appearances to speak at events on the impact of social media marketing in real estate and host classes around the nation.

Alyssa Morgan at The Jills Miami – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I do not treat my business as a “job”, it’s my life! I genuinely have such a thrill and passion for what I do. I am always working, whether it’s a business appointment, social dinner, gala, charity event, or anything in between. I am constantly seeking new prospects and actively out there finding buyers for my products, whether that’s on social media or if it means traveling. I frequently travel due to the fact the ultra-high net worth is in Miami for the season but other parts of the year are in different parts of the world — it’s way to be in front of my clients all year round, grow my global list of connections and constantly make introductions to Miami real estate.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
For me, success is freedom.
