Today we’d like to introduce you to Alejandro Meola.
Hi Alejandro, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a singer, songwriter and guitarist. Born in Miami, grew up in Buenos Aires, based in New York City since 2013. I have recorded a prolific and eclectic catalog rooted in Rock/Blues which I had the opportunity to perform live around the world in cities like San Francisco, Austin, Nashville, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Barcelona among others.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It most certainly has not been a smooth road. As an independent artist, much like in any other entrepreneurial path, the main challenge is and will continue to be the ability to develop skin thick enough to endure the endless adversities in between where you are and where you want to be.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a songwriter and in recent years I’ve taken pride in exploring the possibilities of Rock en Español within the US.
How do you think about luck?
I’ve worked hard to get where I’m at today, nothing has come easy. Had to fight for every inch of it. I believe in God more than luck and I count my blessings.
