Today we’d like to introduce you to Aileen Ruiz.
Hi Aileen, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Creativity, passion, and determination have opened several opportunities throughout my path. For this reason, I firmly believe that your fear can become your passion, that certain moments in life are crucial because these moments can become the key point of our destiny if we learn to use them for our benefit.
For example, people experience fear and insecurity for different reasons, in my case was with the loss of my parents at a young age. At that moment, my life became miserable, everything became harder for me, and I didn’t have any support to continue with my education and follow my dreams. Nonetheless, I never gave up, and I fought against all the odds.
I decided that I am the one who set up my own limits. Therefore, I started to use every tragic moment in my life as a key point to impulse me to become better, to learn, and not let go of my dreams.
Since the loss of my parents, I have taken refuge in art and creativity. For me, art and creativity have been the key that has opened several opportunities in my life. Art and Creativity not only were the key to get away from problems and difficulties but also the fundamental part that made me visualized my future; a future where I was studying and working doing what I love to do.
I can proudly say that after all the failures and hard work, I was able to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation with The Advanced Achievement Award and a Course Director Award from Full Sail University.
After my graduation, great opportunities came for me. I was offered a job opportunity at MPC Canada as an Animator, I was offered a job position at Pueblo High School in Tucson Arizona as an Animator and Art Instructor, and I was also invited to be a special guest speaker at Pueblo High School to demonstrate to high school students how far education can take you with effort and dedication.
Unfortunately, I was unable to take these great opportunities because I was following another dream. I wanted to share my vision of using the power of storytelling and creativity in the business world and bring to life inspiring stories and creative ideas to help entrepreneurs and businesses to create stronger brands by using visual storytelling and creative content.
Therefore, I continued with my education, and on April 2, 2021, I earned my master’s degree in Entertainment Business. Since then, I started to have great opportunities in Miami, and I started my own business “Aileen Ruiz: Inspiring Visual Storytelling.” I can happily say that I have been able to help businesses and entrepreneurs to bring their creative ideas to life. I have help businesses with their brand development, marketing, logo design, social media content, animations, promotional videos, website design, and with creative consulting’s.
After all, many factors have influenced my path to be where I am today. It has not been easy, but I am thankful for everything I have gone through because it has help me to become the strong and passionate person I am today. I believe that visualization is very important, just visualize and ask yourself: Where do you want to go? What do you want to do? Visualize yourself taking those steps, leave the doubts aside, see all your failures as lessons, and follow your dreams.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. I struggled to be where I am today, but I am thankful for all the bumps that were placed on my path because thanks to all the difficulties I was able to learn, grow, and innovate for my business. This is a very competitive industry, you must adapt to changes and keep up with new trends, technology, and softwares’. It can get hard to find clients and good job opportunities, but it’s not impossible, you just need to keep working on your marketing and portfolio. For this reason, I strongly believe that it’s very important to implement innovative ways to attract more customers and followers to your business. Every brand needs change, adaptation, and innovation not only to succeed but to survive in this competitive industry.

I like to use art and creativity anytime that I have the opportunity to use it. I like to keep myself busy and work on different projects. I use the power of storytelling to bring creative ideas to life. My mission is to help entrepreneurs and businesses to create awesome stories that will facilitate them to create stronger connections with their audience by using Inspiring Visual Storytelling! I strongly believe that storytelling can effectively communicate stories to audiences by creating a visual representation of a business and its services.
This idea began when I couldn’t take the opportunity to work at MPC Canada, and I thought that all this creativity and creative content that I am able to create can be use in the business world. Thanks to this idea, I decided to start my own business, and I feel very grateful to now be able to offer multiple services such as Creative Consulting’s that are personalized for each client, training for clients, Web design, 3D Animations, Video Editing, Video Advertising, Graphic Design, Logo Design, Brand Development, and Re-branding services, Illustrations, Paintings, and 3D modeling concepts.

The books that have helped me do best in life and work are the books by John C. Maxwell books: How Successful People Grow, Failing Forward, and Developing the Leader Within You. As well as the 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.
