Today we’d like to introduce you to Abel Fernandez.
Abel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started off as a music producer back in 2003. I became an audio engineer after going to SAE Institute in North Miami Beach, Florida shortly after I got my first break on a major Motion Picture placement with Sony Music BMG for the movie soundtrack called “feel the noise” a production by Jennifer Lopez. Then after I worked around Miami with award-winning producers doing audio and production. Then in 2014 I came up with the concept of world standard audio and created a platform to help Independent Artists producers or all talent and create opportunities to get their music in front of the right people.
Has it been a smooth road?
Not at all, nothing great ever comes easy. Being that I come from immigrant parents from Cuba, finances were always an issue. I’ve had to sleep in my recording studio for months because I couldn’t afford a place to stay and literally shower in the bathroom sink when the only place I could shower (the gym) was closed.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I love Miami and always will. I was born and raised here and I believe our city is just getting better and better each year. I really wouldn’t change a thing as long as we continue to grow together. Miami will always be the best city for music and entertainment and nightlife.
