He stands as one of the hottest stylists in the industry… and his reputation is growing, one scalp at a time.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are definitely some storms along the way and lots of family death, lots of friends, self-doubt, and depression.

The largest struggle was finding support from my own community. Everyone wants glitz, glamour, and fame but forget about the work, the sleepless nights, and sacrifice it takes daily. We can’t forget about missing family functions, working six or seven days a week with no sick days, and trying not to lose yourself while building your brand.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in locs & natural hair care. I’m known for educating, empowering, and enlightening everyone that steps foot in my salon. I’m a quadruple threat (singer, dancer, actor, and hairstylist) and I do all of it in a suit daily.

What do you think about happiness?
My family my amazing husband that’s keeps me balanced and on point and our beautiful children that keeps me sharp and on my toes, and my friends and loves ones and clients that speak life to me and support me on my journey.
