Life & Work with Sara Montoya

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Montoya.

Hi Sara, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my career as a TV host and then I saw the potential that social networks have, that’s why I started publishing my lifestyle, what I love to do, and the places that I visit, and live from this 6 years ago.

It’s actually a job very funny, but as cool as it is, it requires a lot of discipline to be able to achieve my goals and work with big brands, currently, I travel to promote incredible destinations, hotels, and experiences, I also love cooking and in Colombia, I do healthy cooking workshops every month.

I think that social networks for me are a letter of introduction to work, if you know how to use them well, they will work in your favor. Today, I am living a dream, that’s why you always have to work hard to position yourself in what you do. This job also requires good relationships and creating valuable content.

Where people can connect with your life and what you do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Having a public life is never going to be easy, you are always exposed to what they will say, but I am sure of what I am capable of and the dreams I want to achieve.

This work strengthens you as a person and teaches you to be firm in your dreams regardless of the opinion of others.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
People know me as an influencer, but the most beautiful thing about this story is to see how everything begins with a dream in all, God has been my best manager and the best advice I can give you is to persist in your dreams because it depends on you reach the goal.

I still have a lot to grow and learn, but I have achieved many things and that fills my heart with gratitude and motivation.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
You always have to take risks, I left my career as a TV host to focus on social networks and at first, it was very hard, because it is normal to feel anxiety, fear, and uncertainty.

But making a decision and being firm will determine your future. That is why it is important to work your mind because you always have to have motivational thoughts that bring you closer to your goals.
