Uplift Management has very humble beginnings. We truly began from the ground up, starting with one client in 2017 and growing through hard work and high-end service to get to where we are today. Throughout 2017 – 2019 Uplift Management remained nimble as the CEO was working a full-time job as well to remain in the USA.
It was in 2019 that he lost his job, and in 2020, despite the world being shut down in many ways and many people losing jobs, he decided to go all the way with Uplift giving it everything and continuing to provide exceptional service as he knew that is what would separate us from others and build longevity in our clientele regardless of the economy.
We were able to weather the storm and toward the end of 2020 Uplift had its first employee and just under ten clients.
In 2021, Uplift doubled its clientele with a number of high-caliber athletes, entrepreneurs, and influencers. The internal team has grown from 2 to 4 and Uplift is on the trajectory to continue growing into a large management agency as time continues throughout the decade.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Weathering the storm in 2020 throughout the pandemic was one of the biggest obstacles we faced as a business and we knew if we could make it through this, we were going to be pretty unstoppable from thereon. Despite the conditions of the world, we did not let it stop us from providing fast, accurate, and exceptional service. We still found ways we could assist and add value to our network of influencers and brands who we knew were struggling as well.
Businesses face many obstacles and challenges in general. One of our challenges was growing the company without any external investment or loans to fast-track our growth. We purely grew from nothing but hard work and great word of mouth over time. We didn’t even have a website until April of 2021. We knew that patience and perseverance and doing it when we organically could be the stronger decision that built the character our company has today and will be the philosophy that forges us into a bigger and stronger company in the future. Everyone has their own way, and this is what ours was.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
There is no limit to where we can take it. We have new services that we are planning to roll out. One of these services includes social media content creation for brands and companies, becoming the voice for brands, and telling their story in the best possible light. Social media is the biggest marketing avenue for modern-day business. Everyone needs an online presence and story and we feel we can genuinely contribute high value through our unique ability to tell a great story.
