Today we’d like to introduce you to Izabela Kaufman. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Born in a communist Poland, Izabela always aspired to develop a career in real estate. She pursued an advanced education – earning several degrees, worked for the United Nations and eventually moved to the United States, gaining hands-on experience in real estate and finance.
Izabela graduated from Krakow University with a B.A. and also earned a B.A. from the University of London. She continued her education at Harvard School of Business, studying entrepreneurship, business analytics, economics and financial accounting, and also received an advanced certificate in entrepreneurship from the Wharton School of Business.
The same qualities that allowed her to flourish in the United Kingdom and the United States- perseverance, resourcefulness and ambition—are at the heart of the real estate career. Izabela has earned the trust and business of some of the most discerning and private individuals. Her discreet approach combined with integrity, interdisciplinary education, international background and polished negotiation skills continue to contribute to the success for both the buyer or the seller. In recognition of her ingenuity, Izabela was awarded Top 100 in Real Estate in 2019.
Izabela also has a deep focus on community and charity efforts. She is grateful for the opportunities that she was given in the U.S. and is an active member of the Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow and also volunteers her time with Habitat for Humanity and other relief organizations.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never been easy but it is always worth it. Being born in a communist Poland where the food shortages and lines for staples were a daily occurrence, I learned to be resourceful from the very early age.
